How it all started…

It was when I visited Guarda in 2020 that I had an epiphany. The beauty and uniqueness of the sgraffiti blew me away. I wanted to understand and know everything about it. As it was impossible to find books on the subject, I turned to some locals - they encouraged me to write the book I wanted to find myself. Sceptical at first, I visited other villages until I was convinced that this art deserved a book and that I could be the author! So I embarked on an adventure that took me along the roads of Graubünden for three years and ended with the publication of the book SGRAFITS in 2023.
